About Breathwork
Breathing on purpose
Breathwork is conscious, connected breathing: done with intention, with support, in a space where nothing is asked of you except to breathe and feel.
What breathwork is
Most of the time, the breath runs on autopilot, shallow and quiet in the background. Breathwork simply means giving it your full attention: breathing in a conscious, connected rhythm that gently opens the places where stress, emotion, and old stories are held.
I use Transformational Breath®, a gentle, powerful practice that uses an open-mouth breath without pauses to open the breath, release physical and emotional holding, and reconnect you with your body.
There is nothing to master and no way to get it wrong. Your breath already knows what to do.
Why the breath
There is so much we learn through the mind. We read, we study, we talk about what happened and try to understand why we do the things we do.
But the breath can process things the mind could never think its way through. It allows us to feel and integrate what we’ve been carrying in our bodies for years, and it reconnects us with our own guidance, our own wisdom, our own knowing beneath the noise.
The breath is simple. And yet it can take us places the thinking mind cannot.
What a session is like
Lie down. Breathe. I’ll meet you there.
We begin by talking about what is present for you and setting an intention for the session. Then you lie down, get comfortable, and I guide you into the breath.
I stay with you the whole time, using gentle hands-on support, sound, and movement to help the breath open. Some sessions are quiet. Some bring tears, emotion, heat, sensation, or memories. Whatever arrives is welcome.
We close slowly, with time to rest, integrate, and share what came through.
What people notice after a session
- A quieter mind and a softer body
- Emotion moving that has been stuck for years
- More energy, clarity, and ease in the days that follow
- A feeling many describe simply as coming home
